Leeds United Premier League fixtures: Schedule, dates, times, and predictions for the upcoming season of the EPL in 2022/23

In spite of Leeds United being known as a club prone to drama, the 2021/22 Premier League season proved to be an unexpectedly turbulent one.

As a hero at Elland Road, Marcelo Bielsa remains a hero to many, but he left in February after a six-game winless run, including four consecutive heavy defeats, that forced him to leave the club.

During the months of March and April, Leeds was hovering two points above the relegation zone at the time, and former RB Leipzig coach Jesse Marsch was unable to ease their predicament, despite a promising patch during the period.

Leeds was saved from relegation only by a final-day victory at Brentford after five games without a victory. Do they have any chance of avoiding more strife in the coming season of the Premier League in 2022/23? Their schedule can be found here.

Leeds United Premier League projection & odds

The season has been far from convincing for Leeds United under Marsch. The club would have been relegated had Burnley won rather than lost against Newcastle United on the final day of 2021/22, which may explain why bookmakers consider them the strongest relegation candidates apart from the three newly promoted sides.

It may have taken Leeds some time to recover from the shell shock of Bielsa’s departure, and the irrepressibly upbeat Marsch will hope to restore Leeds to the top half of the table. It would be extremely helpful for the manager’s cause if Brazil winger Raphinha and England midfielder Kalvin Phillips were to remain with the club, as well as if Patrick Bamford returned to his former form.
