Wolves Premier League fixtures: Schedule, dates, times, and predictions for the upcoming season of the EPL in 2022/23

The fans of the Wolves were probably more relieved than most to see the end of the 2021/22 Premier League season, in which their team finished with a seven-game winless run that included five defeats.

In the wake of a slump that ended their hopes of returning to Europe for the first time since their UEFA Europa League adventure in 2019/20, manager Bruno Lage was clearly dissatisfied with his players.

It was encouraging to see that the Wolves won 15 games in the season, and among those wins were victories over Tottenham, Manchester United, and West Ham, and the club finished in 10th place, which was a respectable return on investment.

Here is Wolves’ 2019/20 Premier League schedule ahead of the club’s fifth consecutive season in the top flight.

FA Cup, and Carabao Cup participation for Wolves

It was a poor showing for Wolves in the fourth round of the FA Cup last season, when they were beaten at home by Norwich, one of the Premier League sides relegated that season – a result which was a poor return for Wolves in that competition.

As the third round of the Carabao Cup approached in 2021/22, Tottenham won the game on penalties at Molineux in the third round. Wolves will be participating in that competition from November onwards.

Predictions & odds for Wolves in the Premier League

This is a reflection of the fact that Wolves’ odds reflect their status as one of the top-tier Premier League teams with as many chances of being in the top half of the table as they do of slipping towards relegation.

He has plenty of quality on his side with the likes of England defender Conor Coady, Portugal midfielder Ruben Neves and targetman Raul Jimenez, whose capability to be more prolific in attack could define his side’s season. For Wolves to be able to qualify for European competition once again would be an indication of a successful season.

Here is a list of Wolves best and worst finishes in the Premier League

After overseeing Wolves’ promotion to the Premier League as winners of the Championship in 2017/18, Nuno Espirito Santo has guided the Wolves side to two seventh-place finishes in the Premier League.

There is no doubt that those are Wolves’ best results in the Premier League, with a 13th place finish in 2020/21 prior to Santo’s exit as well as the subsequent ill-fated move to Tottenham.

When Wolves first joined the Premier League, they finished bottom of the table and were immediately relegated after just one season. Having been promoted in 2009/10, they lasted two seasons until they were relegated to 20th place again in the following season.
