The SummerSlam card has been updated with another title match, which will take place at Nissan Stadium in Nashville, Tennessee on July 30.
The match between Bianca Belair and Becky Lynch has officially been added to the show following tonight’s episode of Raw.
As Becky Lynch entered the stage, she asked the crowd if they were familiar with the story of the “Little Engine That Could”. The story of the train that had to overcome obstacle after obstacle but kept persevering to be able to reach a destination as compared to the current journey she is on as a result of “Wrestlemania 38”. When she addressed the audience, she said that as the “Big Time Becks Express”, she would run over anyone on her path if she were to get derailed, and she would take out anyone who was in her path by running them over. The crowd booed her as she added that she was on “Legendary Road” and that they could get off at “Appreciation Station”.
Later on, in the show, Lynch said that officials backstage informed her that she would be facing the winner of the “Raw” Women’s Championship match that would take place later on the show between Bianca Belair and Carmella.
After the hasty loss of her title at SummerSlam 2021, Belair came to the ring and said this is not the Becky Lynch comeback story, but rather it is the Bianca Belair comeback story, who had never lost a title before her loss at SummerSlam 2021. As soon as she beats Carmella, she says that she will kick Becky back to Ireland when she beats Carmella. The fight begins with Carmella and Lynch entering the ring and launching an attack against Belair with the help of Lynch. Right after that, Carmella and Belair met in a match, and Belair was ultimately able to come out on top in order to take home the win. Take a look at the complete match results here.
